Cemetery Walk

The Cemetery Walk was held inside the Salt River Cemetery and featured twelve famous former Shepherd residents. Over two hundred people participated in the cemetery walk during the Sesquicentennial celebration. There are plans to do another cemetery walk in the future.

Video Documentaries

A committee formed this month will be developing a series of videos which can be shown to museum visitors and future tour guides. Our first subject is Rose Cohoon with other people and topics to follow.

Little Red Schoolhouse

This single room schoolhouse is a great recreation of what school was like two hundred years ago. The Little Red Schoolhouse is always undergoing maintenance and improvements in anticipation of its next group of visitors.

Powerhouse

The powerhouse serves as a museum for the public and a meeting place for the Historical Society. Like the Little Red Schoolhouse, the powerhouse is an ongoing project requiring maintenance and continuous improvements.
